Our transition courses will prepare you to smoothly operate all the functions of the Garmin
G1000 Glass panel system. You will develop the basic operating knowledge and skills necessary to fly these technologically advanced aircraft (TAA) with confidence. Whether you are buying a new aircraft with a G 1000 system or just want to experience the awesome power of this new technology, this course is for you.
Three Options!
Option One
G 1000 Island Adventure Flying Course
Take a cruise around the Big Island in our Cessna 172 SP with one of our experienced CFI/guide pilots. You will see first hand just how easy the G 1000 system enhances the task of aviating and navigating around our magnificent island.
Cost is $255 per flight hour and includes aircraft, fuel and instructor time.
Option Two
One day familiarization training
This is a chance to fly our new Cessna 172 SP and
experience some focused hands on training in the new glass cockpit technology.
Familiarization training includes:
3 hours of ground class including ASA On Top 9.0 PC simulator training
1 hour minimum orientation flight in our G 1000 equipped Cessna 172 SP
Cost: $453.
Option Three
Two to three day qualification training
This is an immersion training program designed to qualify you to operate
the G 1000 system. This program is perfect for those who might be purchasing
their own G 1000 equipped aircraft someday and want to get qualified in advance with the added benefit of doing in while vacationing on the Big Island of Hawaii!
Immersion training includes:
6 hours ground class including ASA On Top 9.0 PC simulator training
3 hours Flight instruction Cessna 172 SP
Cost: $1,071.
